Lace Up for Kids Back-to-School Shoes Program
All school-age children from low-income families, grades Pre-K-12, in Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler & Brooke Counties in WV, and Belmont County, OH, are eligible to receive a free new pair of shoes just in time for the new school year!
Wendy’s, WTOV9, Covestro, EQT, and United Way have partnered to help children in school get new shoes for the new school year. Families can apply for each of their school-age children to get a new pair of sneakers if they live in the counties of Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel, Tyler & Brooke Counties in WV, and Belmont County, OH.
Applications to receive shoes are due no later than JULY 15th! Families MUST register to participate.

Attention any student interested in playing Football: The 1st week of 3 week training period will be beginning Monday June 19th at 8:00 A.M. at TCHS. TCHS Boys Basketball Players: NCAA Division 2 CAL-U Assistant Basketball Coach, Preston Boswell, will be running a workout at the school for our boys basketball team on Monday, June 5 from 11-1. If you are interested in playing basketball next year, please plan on attending this session.

West Virginia Wesleyan and MetroNews have named 15 high school juniors as finalists in the 2023 West Virginia Scholar program.
The four-year full-ride scholarship to Wesleyan is is valued at approximately $160,000 and includes tuition, fees, and room and board.
An online public vote on the finalists will be held at wvmetronews.com.

Attention TCHS Students: We are gauging interest in students taking a pep bus to Charleston on Thursday, June 1st, to support the baseball team at the state tournament. If you are interested please call Mrs. Griffin at 304-758-8300. Tickets to the game are seven dollars a ticket. Students are responsible for tickets and meals.

The WVSSAC State Baseball Tournament will be played at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston. The Class A semifinals are set for Thursday, June 1. Class AA and Class AAA semifinals are scheduled for Friday, June 2. The championship games will be played Saturday, June 3.
