Important Announcement! Attention TCHS Students and Families: Please see the image and information below regarding adjustments to our semester exam schedule. To ensure adequate preparation and review time given the recent weather-related cancellations, we will now utilize the following schedule for final exams. -Wednesday: Normal Schedule-Final exam review and preparation. -Thursday: Exam Day-Periods 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8. -Friday: Exam Day-Periods 2, 4, and 6. (Friday will remain a 3-hour early release.) In the event of any additional weather-related delays or cancellations, arrangements will be made for any incomplete exams to be completed upon the week students return from Christmas break. Amos Kimble, Brody Nice, Jake Henderson and Travis Moore braved the snow Saturday in Shelbyville, Indiana in the 2025 USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship. Kimble came out with a 3rd place and Moore a 15th place in their division. #KnightsPride

Wetzel County Tech Center’s Tech Express welcomed all 3rd graders from Tyler and Wetzel counties this week. Students rotated through CTE stations including taste-testing, letter writing to Santa, games, shirt making, and so much more. Additionally, TCHS FBLA students and TCHS students who attend Wetzel Tech helped create some holiday magic at each station.

Huge Congratulations to Our All-State Musicians! We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of these outstanding TCHS Knights Band members who have been selected for the 2026 West Virginia All-State Band: • Morgan Fisher – 2nd Chair Bass Clarinet • Caleb Gist – 14th Chair Trumpet • Sam Thorn – 1st Chair Tuba Earning a spot in the All-State Band is an incredibly competitive process that requires months of dedicated preparation, followed by an in-person audition (held this past Saturday in Morgantown). We are VERY proud of each of you—way to go!These students will join the full All-State Band at the Charleston Convention Center in early March to prepare for their concert, presented in conjunction with the WVMEA Annual In-Service Conference. Last week for the career fair chef Chris from Northern came to speak on culinary arts with our students. He made street tacos and that sparked interest with Mrs. Jones nutrition class. Today we made our own street tacos with steak, beef, and chicken, our own pickled onions, pico de gallo, and crema. The students created their own variations of tacos and enjoyed them very much! #KnightsPride

Good luck to our very own Katie Grimm today! Today she competes in the 17th Annual East/West Volleyball Showcase! Katie is on Team East and they are looking for a 3 peat win!
