All 4-H clubs are community oriented organizations. They prepare young people to help their community and world. The four leaf clover is the symbol of the 4-H club.The reason this club is called 4-H is because there are four words that start with the letter H that are important to them: Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. The 4-H club has a pledge that their members live by. The pledge is: "I pledge my Head to clearer thinking, my Heart to greater loyalty, my Hands to larger service, and my Health to better living, for my club, my community, my country and my world."
